What does AEF mean in FOUNDATIONS

The AEF provides resources to support innovative programs that enhance student learning, teacher engagement, or parent involvement in the Alhambra Unified School District. It raises funds for supplemental programs such as grants for teachers, college access and success initiatives, after-school enrichment activities, and other projects and initiatives with long-term benefits for students.

The AEF works closely with district staff and administration on how best to allocate funds where they will have the most impact on student achievement. Funds raised by the AEF help equip schools with technology supplies, laboratory materials as well as classroom materials that can maximize educational outcomes. This allows teachers to focus more of their energy on providing quality instruction rather than worrying about a lack of resources.

Anyone can make a contribution - whether it be an individual or corporation - by donating online or mailing a check. Donations made directly through our website are 100% tax deductible and donors receive a charitable donation receipt via email upon completion of the giving process.
