The Associate Alumnae of Douglass College (AADC) was originally formed in 1924 as a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting alumnae of Douglass College, Rutgers University's first college exclusively for women. The purpose of AADC was to provide scholarships, educational assistance and other needed resources to its members in order to ensure their success after graduating from college. In 1988, AADC began recognizing distinguished alumni for their achievements and service through the "Distinguished Alumna Award". This award honors alumna who have made significant contributions to their chosen field or society at large.

Mission

The mission of AADC is twofold: To support the current students, faculty and staff at Rutgers University's Douglass Residential College; and, second, to connect with graduates to help them foster meaningful relationships within the community while also strengthening ties between alumni across generations.
