What does DMIS mean in UNCLASSIFIED

The Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS) is a psychosocial model developed by Milton J. Bennett in 1993 that provides a framework for understanding how our attitude toward other cultures change as we gain more knowledge.

The DMIS model proposes six stages to intercultural sensitivity, which we go through as we mature and gain new knowledge about different cultures and the world around us.
