What does ADSA mean in SPORTS

The Ashton and District Snowmobile Association (ADSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe snowmobiling in our local area. Our main goal is to ensure that our members have access to legal and well-maintained trails, as well as provide guidance on proper riding etiquette.

Membership in the ADSA is open to anyone who has an interest in snowmobiling, regardless of experience level. To join, simply fill out an online application form and then pay applicable membership fees. Once approved, you will receive your membership card which will grant you access to all of our trails and services.

The ADSA currently maintains over 80 miles of trails and access points for members to explore at their leisure. These trails span across multiple regions in Ontario, ranging from beginner-friendly flat terrain to more challenging hills or backwoods tracks. Various safety equipment is also provided along these routes for added protection while riding.

Yes, riders must be at least 16 years old in order to join the ADSA. However, young drivers between 12 and 15 years old may be eligible for membership if supervised by an adult member at all times while on a trail or at any official club event. Additionally, all riders under 18 must have written consent from their parent or legal guardian before joining us.

Yes! The ADSA hosts various events throughout the year that are open to all members wishing to take part. This includes casual rides during the summer months, as well as organized races during winter season when conditions permit. Prizes are typically given out during these competitions.

Absolutely! In addition to providing general safety information about snowmobiling, we also teach necessary skills such as navigation techniques and machine maintenance basics through basic instruction courses held periodically throughout the year. Advanced courses may also be available upon request.

Aside from race events mentioned earlier, we also host social gatherings such as fundraisers or Beach Party celebrations on select weekends during summertime where food and drinks are served for everyone’s enjoyment.

Yes! We offer snowmobiles rentals on certain days during winter season so you can enjoy riding even without owning your own machine. Rentals cost vary based upon duration and model used; please refer to our website for details.

No; Your membership with ADSA only grants access rights within Ontario only so all other destinations outside this region would require separate registration with respective governing bodies therein.

The executive board meets every month prior to each ride day/event in order review past performance data among other topics pertinent towards our operations. All members are welcomed join these meetings should they wish though attendance is not mandatory.
