What does ADLP mean in MILITARY

The Army Distance Learning Program (ADLP) is an education and training program that enables Soldiers to take courses remotely at times convenient for them. This program provides Soldiers with access to high-quality education materials and allows them to supplement their classroom instruction with self-paced activities. Through ADLP, Soldiers can take advantage of flexible learning opportunities and receive credit towards their educational goals.

The Army Distance Learning Program offers a variety of courses in topics such as leadership, management, technical training, and self-development. All courses have been designed to meet the Army's rigorous standards for quality instruction. In addition, these courses come with comprehensive Student Support Services for students taking distance learning classes.

To enroll in an ADLP course, you must first obtain approval from your unit commander or supervisor and submit a completed Course Selection Form found on the ADLP website. Yes! Student Support Services are available for all students enrolled in an ADLP course. Additionally, each student is assigned an Academic Advisor who serves as both a mentor and resource throughout their educational journey while they take part in the ADLP program.

No special equipment or software is required; however, it is important that your computer has internet access so that you can connect to your online classroom when participating in lectures or other activities related to your coursework. It is also recommended that students use certain web browsers such as Chrome or Firefox for best performance on our learning platform during their studies.

After successfully completing all requirements for graduation from AFDLP, most students usually receive diplomas within 8-10 weeks time following submission of all transcripts reflecting successful completion of each class taken through the Army Distance Learning Program.

Yes! You may add additional topics while still working on current classes already enrolled into your curriculum through AFDLP's "concurrent enrollment" option which allows students flexibility when setting up personal study schedules.

Many universities accept credits earned though AFDLP provided they are acknowledged by either ACE (American Council on Education) or NCCRS (National College Credit Recommendation Service). It's best to check specific university policies when applying elsewhere after completion of AFDLP classes.
