What does CTTM mean in MEDICAL

The Centre for Tropical and Travel Medicine (CTTM) is an international organization dedicated to providing free medical care, education, and research focused on tropical diseases in resource-limited countries. CTTM’s mission is to provide equitable access to quality healthcare for underserved communities around the world.

CTTM offers a range of services designed to address the needs of communities affected by tropical diseases. These services include health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases, educational programs, research projects, and advocacy initiatives.

CTTM relies heavily on donations from individuals and organizations who believe in our mission of providing equitable access to quality healthcare. We also receive a grant from the European Commission as part of their Global Health Initiative.

CTTM currently works in 14 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. We have offices in each country which help us coordinate our activities on the ground.

Anyone living in an area affected by tropical diseases can benefit from our services as we strive to provide equitable access to quality healthcare. This includes pregnant women, children under five years old, those living with HIV/AIDS or other chronic illnesses, people living in rural or remote areas with limited access to healthcare facilities, and people living in conflict zones or disaster-affected areas.
