First you will need to contact our office directly to discuss your interest in participating in a trial. After answering some questions that relate to health history and medication usage, an appointment will be scheduled for further evaluation. Yes, Depending on the study design most studies will offer compensation for time and travel expenses associated with participation as well as any necessary procedures or tests performed during the course of the trial. Most studies also cover meals at our facility when needed during longer visits.

During your first visit you can expect an initial examination where we obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature), blood samples if needed, an EKG (electrocardiogram) and physical exam if needed. After completing this process you may receive preliminary results from lab tests performed onsite or at designated laboratories associated with CTCR prior to leaving the facility.

Although all potential risks related to participating in a clinical trial must be discussed prior to enrolling into a study for review (including what medications are being administered and what potential side effects could occur), it is important to remember that safety always comes first! All necessary precautions have been taken by CTCR's staff in order protect the safety of participants throughout each study.

Yes! To ensure the safety of minors interested participating in studies at CTCR we require parental consent for minors under 18 years old before enrolling them into any type of clinical trial protocol.

Unfortunately not! Since most of our proceedings take place at our Austin site; only individuals living within reasonable proximity are considered eligible volunteers.
