What does CRUSH mean in COMMUNITY

CRUSH works to bring awareness and resources to the opioid crisis. They are actively engaged in providing education about addiction, advocating for policies that address the crisis, and offering support services for those affected by addiction.

CRUSH was founded in 2016 as a response to the growing opioid epidemic in the United States. Its mission was to provide resources and support within communities that were most heavily impacted by addiction.

The organization is made up of many people from all backgrounds working together for a common cause. This includes those of us who have been directly impacted by addiction or know someone who has been touched by this disease as well as healthcare professionals, law enforcement officers, clergy members, community leaders, concerned citizens, advocates and many more passionate individuals.

As part of their work fighting against the opioid epidemic, CRUSH provides a variety of educational materials about addiction prevention and treatment as well as support services such as referrals for help after an overdose or answer questions about Narcan use. They also advocate for policy changes at the local and national level in order to provide more effective solutions for those struggling with addiction.
