What does CRRA mean in ASSOCIATIONS

CRRA works to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills by providing advocacy, education, information and technical assistance on resource conservation and management. These efforts are geared towards encouraging individuals, businesses, local governments, and organizations to make decisions that minimize the generation of waste and maximize reuse or recycling.

CRRA provides publications about recycling laws and regulations in California; newsletters featuring updates on legislation relating to resource conservation; online tools such as the Universal Recycling Calculator (URC), which helps businesses calculate their potential cost savings from diverting more than 90% of their waste; webinars; educational programs; and other resources.

Individuals can join or donate to support CRRA's mission. Businesses have access to training programs offered by the organization. Companies can also become members or sponsors of the organization. Local government agencies are also encouraged to join for additional benefits like discounted pricing for certain services or products provided by CRRA.

By supporting or joining CRRA, you are helping divert more materials from landfills into re-use or recycling opportunities thus preventing pollution that would have otherwise been caused by disposing these materials into natural ecosystems. In addition, you will be actively promoting sustainable practices through your endorsement of CRRA's mission which will ultimately benefit both current residents as well as future generations in our state.
