What does ADA mean in POLITICS

ADA is a progressive organization that works to promote social and economic justice and equality in the United States through political action. It was founded in 1947 by prominent Democrats such as Eleanor Roosevelt, Hubert Humphrey, and more.

ADA's core principles include protecting civil rights and civil liberties, preserving social justice programs like Social Security and Medicare, advocating for economic security through living wages and adequate benefits, ensuring equal access to quality education at all levels, confronting global climate change in an effective manner, and working toward a foreign policy of peace, internationalism and disarmament.

ADA works on multiple levels to pursue its goals of promoting social and economic justice.
