Our field sites are located throughout mainland China including Yunnan Province, Sichuan Province, Guangxi Autonomous Region and Chongqing Municipality. We also have numerous partner sites in other parts of East Asia including Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.

Since its inception in 2000s,the CNHP has published over 70 papers spanning topics from ornithology to plant ecology. Many of these articles are available open-access via our website cnhpchina.org/publications so anyone can read them without having to pay a subscription fee!

No - while now headquartered at the Field Museum in downtown Chicago since 2013 our operations have spanned multiple countries since our foundation 19 years ago! In fact one year after forming we moved across oceans relocating from Harvard University's Arnold Arboretum located near Boston Massachusetts all the way eastward towards Shanghai's Fudan University campus just across Pearl River estuary!
