What does CN mean in NAVY

Constructionmen in the US Navy are responsible for constructing, maintaining, repairing, and renovating buildings or land-based structures. This could include demolition work, carpentry work, welding work, painting work and more.

To become a qualified Constructionman in the US Navy you must pass an exam in basic mathematics, knowledge on electrical wiring and circuitry as well as being able to read technical drawings. You will also be required to have experience in the field of construction or related areas.

The salary of a Constructionman can vary depending on their rank and experience level. However most enlisted personnel would typically receive between k to k annually plus benefits such as housing allowance and health insurance.

In addition to their primary role of constructing, maintaining and repairing buildings or land-based structures; a Constructionman may also be tasked with performing general maintenance duties on motor equipment used for landscaping purposes. Additionally they may operate material handling equipment such as forklifts to transport materials from one location to another.

The majority of their time will be spent outdoors working in harsh environment conditions such as rain or heat so they need to be able to cope with these tough conditions while still completing their tasks correctly. They must also have good physical fitness levels due to the nature of the job requiring strength and stamina when lifting heavy items or digging trenches.
