What does CLMP mean in LAW & LEGAL

The Colorado Law Mediation Program (CLMP) is a free service offered by the Colorado Supreme Court to help people resolve their civil disputes without going to court. The program provides an impartial mediator who helps parties meet and discuss their differences and reach a mutually satisfactory resolution.

Anyone can take advantage of the CLMP, regardless of income or legal representation. It is available for claims up to $100,000 and covers most areas of civil law except for family matters and criminal cases.

After both parties agree to participate in mediation, they will meet with one or more impartial mediators whose job it is to facilitate communication between the two sides and help them create an agreement that both parties can accept.
