What does CIAB mean in COUNCIL

The mission of the CIAB is to ensure that its members have access to resources that foster growth in their business operations and maintain their competitive advantage in the market. It also works actively to advance industry trends in technology and legislative compliance.

The CIAB provides a variety of services to its members including legislative updates, specialized resources such as property & casualty underwriting programs, complimentary webinars & seminars, discounts on educational conferences & publications, networking events & tools such as communities of practice groups, and advocacy & policy development campaigns.

To be eligible for membership in the CIAB you must be an agent or broker with direct client contact who develops relationships in your local community or within specific professional or trade networks. You must also have current professional liability coverage or other proof of financial responsibility if required by state law.
