What does CFNA mean in FORUMS

Carbon Forum North America (CFNA) works to promote the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the adoption of renewable energy sources, and other measures that lead to a more sustainable future. Our mission is to advocate for policy change through education and collaboration with diverse stakeholders in government, business and civil society.

CFNA offers many opportunities for individuals looking to get involved in our activities. You can become a member of CFNA by signing up online or attending one of our meetings/events. Additionally, you can make donations or volunteer your time to assist with any ongoing projects or initiatives we have going on.

Currently, CFNA operates at the national level in the United States but has also engaged partners from across Canada in some initiatives. We are committed to working both within our region as well as collaborating with global organizations on mutual benefit programs and solutions-oriented interventions throughout North America.

The goal of CFNA is to support effective climate action through research-driven policy changes that reduce greenhouse gas emissions while creating equitable economic opportunities for all residents across North America. Through our efforts, we hope to create a brighter tomorrow for all generations today.

There are several ways individuals can help reduce carbon emissions at home or in their community such as committing to energy efficiency measures such as replacing old appliances or installing insulation; switching from gasoline-powered vehicles to electric ones; participating in green programs like carpooling or biking; composting organics waste instead of sending it off for landfilling; or investing in renewable energy options like solar power installations.
