What does CFI mean in RELIGION

Christian Freedom International (CFI) is a Christian human rights organization dedicated to serving persecuted Christians around the world and promoting religious freedom. CFI takes direct action to rescue those who are oppressed and in danger and motivates others to join in defending the right of believers to freely follow Jesus Christ without fear or harassment.

CFI provides tangible assistance such as rescue operations, medical care, food, clothing, shelter, legal aid, and advocacy for those facing persecution. CFI also works to educate people about the plight of persecuted Christians through its communications department and by hosting speaking engagements with experts on religious freedom.

CFI offers direct support to individuals facing persecution by providing legal aid or facilitating crisis rescues when necessary. In addition, CFI works with partner organizations to provide long-term aid such as medical care, food, clothing, and shelter. The organization also provides advocacy services for those whose cases cannot be addressed through traditional methods.

CFI accepts volunteers in many capacities including both short term and long term opportunities related to field operations, communications/media relations, outreach/training/advocacy activities and fundraising/development initiatives. While there is no specific age limit for volunteers who wish to participate in field operations they must adhere strictly to security protocols which require they be over the age of 25 years old at time of participation due to safety concerns within high risk locations where certain missions are taking place. Volunteers seeking other non-field positions must meet any additional requirements listed in relation their desired opportunity but there is no universal minimum age requirement outside of that stipulation.
