Mission & Vision

CFAR's mission is to enhance the voice of regional actors in policy decisions aimed at achieving social justice and sustainable development outcomes in emerging economies like India through knowledge generation and dissemination. At CFAR we strive to be globally connected yet locally significant in approach — we use resources available locally while engaging strategically with international processes such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We believe that networks of solidarity created between local actors can lead to better solutions than those generated in isolation or imposed from outside. Through our partnerships with other advocacy organisations throughout South Asia we hope to create a powerful forum for civil society-driven policy change from the region.
