What does CEI mean in UNCLASSIFIED

The mission of the CEI is to support and accelerate entrepreneurial thinking and collaboration among students, faculty, staff, alumni, startups, industry partners and investors. Through the facilitation of mentorship and training opportunities, we are dedicated to creating an environment that encourages innovative thought and actionable steps leading to successful startup creation.

The CEI provides a variety of services to members such as access to mentorship programs, educational resources on entrepreneurship topics, networking events, grants and funding opportunities, marketing support for businesses and startups, incubator programing and partnership with venture capitalists.

To become a member of the CEI you must either be associated with or affiliated with an institution that is part of the CEI network. This includes students from universities or colleges in the network as well as professionals who are employed by an organization that is part of this network. Additionally there are individual membership options available.

The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation hosts various events throughout the year which range from seminars focused on entrepreneurship topics such as pitching skills or intellectual property protection; seminars featuring successful entrepreneurs were they share their paths to success; networking events for entrepreneurs to meet potential customers or business partners; hackathons where teams work together on a project in order to come up with creative solutions; conferences focusing on different areas within entrepreneurship such as venture capital investment or technology advances; pitch competitions allowing companies the opportunity to present their business ideas; workshops covering everything from startup basics to exit strategies; as well as evening socials where entrepreneurs can connect with one another in more casual settings.

Most services provided by the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation are offered at no cost although some may require registration fees depending on the event or program.

Yes. The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation offers both grants and funding opportunities for startups who have been accepted into our incubator program. We also provide access to venture capitalists who may be interested in investing in your startup venture.

No it is not required however we highly recommend attending any events hosted by our center so you can make meaningful connections with other entrepreneurs and stay connected with all our new initiatives! We also offer online courses if it's not possible for you attend regular meetings/classes in person.

Not necessarily - While many members of our organization join because they have a specific business idea they would like help launching & growing – others choose to join simply because they're interested in learning more about entrepreneurship & connecting with like-minded individuals who will inspire them going forward. Joining our center does not mean that every participant has an obligation to launch a company immediately!

No - We welcome all types of entrepreneurs into our organization regardless if they're early stage startups or experienced veterans looking for new ways to grow their current businesses! All that we ask is that participants abide by our code of conduct which ensures respect & professionalism amongst attendees at all times!
