What does AAAP mean in ASSOCIATIONS

They are typically held on Saturday nights starting around 9PM.

Yes! We have several different types of telescopes available for rental at each event including Dobsonians, refractors, Newtonians & catadioptrics at reasonable prices ($10-$20). In addition we supply each attendee with extra eyepieces for enhanced views so everyone can observe in comfort.

Yes! We offer both daylong workshops as well as ongoing courses covering topics such as astrophotography basics, telescope operation & maintenance, deep space object identification & navigation among many others. These classes are open to all age groups regardless of experience level

Absolutely! Our family/children program consists of hands-on activities such as rocket building & launching as well as astronomy games & puzzles designed specifically for younger audiences (ages 4-12). Other fun activities include scavenger hunts & planetarium shows tailored specifically for kids.

If it is raining or cloudy on the night when we are scheduled to hold a stargazing party then we will either reschedule that particular event or try our best to find an alternate location away from sources of light pollution like streetlights etc where members can still observe objects in deep space comfortably.
