What does CEBC mean in BUSINESS

The Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) is an industry-led coalition of private sector entities that advocates for the clean energy sector. CEBC members work together to advance the growth and development of the clean energy industry in order to create economic opportunity, reduce carbon emissions, and secure reliable access to clean energy sources.

CEBC’s operations are supported by members’ contributions and other private sector sources. We work collaboratively with partners from industry, government, finance, research institutions, labor and civil society to ensure that we are advancing our mission in a meaningful way.

CEBC brings together leading companies across the energy value chain with investors and advisors to accelerate clean energy industries around the world. Our goal is to create a thriving ecosystem within which businesses can create meaningful innovation that will shape our global electricity mix. Through the collaboration of our members we strive to support technological, policy and market solutions while advocating for better public policies that promote clean energy development globally.

Membership in CEBC is open to any company or organization dedicated to commercializing or supporting renewable/clean energy technologies and services in both developed and emerging markets. Companies must demonstrate their commitment through financial investment or other forms of support for clean energy solutions worldwide.
