What does ACLC mean in CONFERENCES

The American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) is a religious organization dedicated to engaging clergy in the spiritual, moral and social transformation of society. It aims to facilitate collaboration between faith leaders and community-based organizations to promote peacebuilding initiatives and foster greater unity in communities across the United States.

ACLC was founded in 2004 by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and his wife Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon, who are spiritual leaders for Unificationists around the world, as an interfaith organization to help unite people of all faiths toward a common goal of peace, security, and well-being for all humanity.

ACLC's work involves promoting programs that bridge diverse religious traditions to promote understanding, dialogue, and collaboration among people from different faiths as well as creating opportunities for personal transformation through service projects, prayer events, conferences and dialogues with thought leaders from various religions.

ACLC hosts many types of activities ranging from hosting annual conferences which brings together clergy of all major religions to discuss theology and social justice issues; providing civic education seminars; organizing service projects such as blood drives; creating prayer events/seminars; producing films that explore faith based topics; and offering spiritual counseling services.

Yes! ACLC has several partners such as United Religions Initiative (URI), Foundation for Religious Diplomacy (FRD), Association for Global New Thought (AGNT), National Council of Churches (NCC), Interfaith Youth Core (IYC). Additionally, local churches serve as key partners in their areas to support the work of ACLC in their respective cities or states.

By partnering with these organizations, we are able to reach wider audiences across the country on topics such as interfaith dialogue and understanding. Through these partnerships we have organized intervsioning retreats which helps foster better understanding among those attending them on a wide range of issues including race relations, gender equality etc., additionaly AGNT have supported our films nationally by showing them at various universities around the country while NCC has invited our representatives to speak at their convenstions about our work with youth on college campuses across America.

ACLC aims to make lasting change in society through its advocacy efforts focusing on educating leaders about important social issues such as poverty alleviation, gender equality and racial harmony while also inspiring others through its service projects and prayer sessions/seminars held throughout the year at various locations across America.

ACLC takes a multi-pronged approach when tackling difficult social problems which includes bringing a faith based perspective into conversations surrounding current political & social debates while also promoting hands on service efforts like food drives or blood drives which help uplift members within our communities who are facing obstacles due their financial or other situations.

Yes! While most of our presence lies within United States but our work often transcends beyond US borders since we also organize events involving international delegates from countries like Japan & Russia who come share stories & exchange best practices about how they are handling similar challenges faced by them at home.
