What does CCSB mean in CANCER

CCSB stands for the Center of Cancer Systems Biology.

The mission of the Center of Cancer Systems Biology is to advance understanding of cancer biology and to develop novel approaches for personalized patient care.

The Center was established in 2013 at Texas A&M University.

Through collaborative research, the center supports research initiatives that bring together scientists from across disciplines to gain a better understanding of how cancer develops and evolves, with a focus on developing new methods and technologies to improve early detection, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

The center provides resources such as core laboratories, high-performance computing facilities and specialized instruments that allow researchers access to state-of-the-art tools for their research projects. In addition, the center offers educational opportunities such as seminars, workshops and mentoring programs that help students gain knowledge and skills needed in systems biology research.
