What does CCER mean in RESEARCH

The Center for Computational Energy Research (CCER) is a research organization dedicated to advancing the science of computational energy applications through research and collaboration. CCER works closely with industry, academic, and government entities to develop new methods and technologies that will help lead to a more efficient and sustainable future for energy generation, distribution, and storage.

CCER works on a wide range of projects related to energy. This includes the development of new materials for energy generation, storage, and distribution as well as strategies using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize these processes. Additionally, CCER is involved in connecting various stakeholders including academia, industry, and government entities to collaborate on research solutions pertaining to energy.

All those who are interested in contributing activities related to computational energy research are welcome within the CCER network. This covers individuals from industry professionals to researchers at any educational level from around the world.

Joining the CCER network is done by filling out an online form that can be found on their website or via email invitation from an existing member. Upon completion of this form users are asked questions about their background in order to assess how best they can contribute or take benefit from the network’s services.

To become part of a project supported by CCER one needs to first apply through their online platform or email address provided in their contact page. Applicants will then be given an opportunity to showcase their skills either through writing responses in an online portal or presenting them through video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Skype depending on individual arrangements made with our Team Leaders/Project Managers at respective partner universities/institutions and industries partners.

Most projects require periodic participation spanning days/weeks at a time as agreed upon between the participants and relevant Project Managers responsible for each project's execution. It should be noted however that depending on various factors such as budget allocated per project etc., all individuals may not receive monetary compensation despite dedicating ample amount of time towards achieving project goals.

Participation within our Network does not automatically give members any legal obligation concerning Intellectual Property(IP). This remains subject primarily towards any agreements concerning IP between two parties engaging in collaborations backed by our organization.(For example between Partner universities/industry member entities).

Participating members have access not only access towards resources available within our organization but also based upon need- have options such updating CV/resume if required as well as training opportunities pertinent towards emerging technologies employed or developed across various sectors involving computation & energy optimization such as AI & data analysis etc.
