What does CCH mean in HEALTHCARE

Carolina Complete Health (CCH) is a health plan that provides coverage for medical, vision, and mental health services to members in 25 North and South Carolina counties. CCH works with doctors and other healthcare providers to make sure members get the medical care they need to stay healthy.

To join, you must first meet the eligibility requirements set by the State of South Carolina. You can apply online or by mail using the forms located on our website. Once approved, you will receive your membership information and an ID card from CCH.

As soon as your enrollment application is processed and approved, your coverage begins. Depending on when you apply, this could be up to 30 days after the date of your application.

Yes! We offer a variety of additional benefits such as discounts on prescriptions, transportation assistance, pregnancy support services, dental care for children under 21 years old, routine immunizations for children under 18 years old and more.

No. Your CCH plan does not cover out-of-network care or services provided by non-participating providers or facilities outside of our network area. Coverage is only provided for services received within our network area.

Yes! We provide coverage for emergency care including ambulance transportation at no out-of-pocket cost to you if medically necessary. You will need to meet applicable copays and deductibles if they are required per your policy terms and conditions.

Yes. Under your CCH plan, all care must be received from participating providers in our network area in order for you to receive benefits from us. For certain specialty services like vision care or podiatry, we may require prior authorization before providing payment or reimbursement towards those services.
