What does ZZD mean in UNCLASSIFIED

Zeon Zum Deikun (also known as Seon Zum Deikun) was a political philosopher who founded the Republic of Zeon in the Universal Century timeline. He is widely accredited with popularizing the concept of a “Newtype”, or an evolved type of human being capable of using advanced machinery or weapons systems to their fullest capabilities.

During his time, he was admired by many individuals--including Dr. Minovsky and Amuro Ray, who went on to become major forces in the One Year War between the Principality of Zeon and the Earth Federation Forces. He was also in close contact with Uzumi Nara Athha, who would later serve as both advisor to Gihren Zabi and Regent of Axis during the Newtypes Conflict.

Zeon was heavily influenced by socialist and anarchist philosophies such as those put forth by Karl Marx and Peter Kropotkin; however, he personally developed a brand of non-violent philosophy where all humans could be “free from oppression, free from suffering and free from conflict”.

In addition to his aforementioned vision for a peaceful world without conflict, he believed that all people should have equal access to resources and opportunities regardless of race or economic class. He also believed that a new form of politics could exist outside Capitalism and Communism--one driven by a moral conscience as opposed to materialism.

The rise in popularity of his philosophies inspired many citizens to seek out a more equitable form of government and gave birth to the Republic of Zeon in U.C 0068. His teachings had an even wider application in U.C 0079 when The Federation declared war on The Principality--prompting Operation British against Side 3/ The Principality's home base--and then again during The Newtype Conflict in U.C 0096 when Amuro Ray discovered evidence proving that Dr Minovsky had been researching ways to manipulate Newtype abilities.

While Dr Minovsky is commonly credited with pioneering research into Newtype technology, it is widely accepted that it was Zeon's writings detailing "the evolutionary potential" within humans which inspired him--therefore earning him the title “The Father Of Newtypes”

His philosophy has had an undeniable influence on futuristic sci-fi media featuring humanoid robots; titles such as Gundam Wing, Macross Frontier, Code Geass and many others draw heavily from his belief that human evolution can occur through advanced machinery.

Yes — much like how Siddhartha Gautama lives on through Buddhism or how Marx brought Socialism into focus; Deikun's theories continue to inspire generations after him.

There are multiple monuments dedicated specifically to him throughout countries associated with various Gundam timelines such as Japan, Hong Kong & China.
