What does BBSF mean in SPORTS

The purpose of the BBSF is to promote and develop billiards sports in Belize. It is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of unity among all billiards players, coaches and fans across the country. It also supports, promotes and develops billiards programs from grassroots initiatives through to elite competition throughout Belize.

The BBSF was established in 2018 with the mission to promote and develop billiards sports in Belize.

Anyone who are interested in playing or promoting billiard activities can join the BBSF. This includes both professionals and amateurs alike as well as coaches, referees, administrators, supporters and spectators.

By joining the BBSF, members gain access to exclusive tournaments and events for competitive play at all levels; receive discounts on equipment purchases; participate in or coach clinics; opportunities for international travel; receive recognition for outstanding performance; access technical advice from experienced officials; build relationships within the sport community; access up-to-date information about current developments from around the world; get advice on obtaining certifications such as referee/coaching credentials; volunteer opportunities within clubs, regions or nationally as a representative or servant leader; networking within national/international teams specializing on specific areas of interest such as artistry or technology.

Aside from its tournament programs, the BSBF provides training clinics with some world class professional players which includes instruction about strategy & tactics for various types of games like 9 ball break & run or 3 cushion shots etc., enabling beginners or amateurs learn how to play better with rapid progressions than walking blindly into it.
