What does LGA mean in GOLF

The Ladies Golf Association is a global organization dedicated to promoting, protecting and growing the great game of golf for women. Our mission is to inspire, empower and elevate ladies by providing resources and experiences that help them reach their full potential. We provide a platform for female golfers to connect with each other and develop lifelong friendships through our clubs and events around the world.

LGA provides its members with exclusive access to a wide range of benefits including discounts on golf equipment, apparel and accessories; complimentary golf instruction sessions; competitive tournament play; free instructional clinics; discounted green fees at participating courses; networking opportunities; resources for budding entrepreneurs, industry professionals and more.

Membership in the LGA is open to all amateur golfers 18 years of age or older who have an active handicap index issued by a recognized national or regional handicapping authority. There may be additional restrictions depending on your country's governing body.

Being an LGA member means you should always strive to uphold the code of conduct as outlined in our membership agreement which includes exhibiting respect for fellow players, course staff, volunteers and facilities as well as abiding by all rules set out by local governing bodies.

Yes! Our international tournament schedule features many major championships such as the US Women's Amateur Championship, US Women's Open Championship, European Tour Championship and Asian Masters Tournament among many others. These events are open to all eligible professional or amateur players who wish to compete in their respective levels of competition while representing their national team or club team respectively.

Our ‘Women Mentorship Program' places emphasis on encouraging leadership skills & providing guidance for budding entrepreneurs & recreational female players alike via comprehensive guidance from senior members who serve as official mentors throughout each year-long program offering valuable insight into building successful careers/businesses within the sports industry ecosystem as professionals themselves.

Yes! By encouraging our members to participate in various cooperative projects focused towards making positive changes in society not just within but outside of our sport we proudly donate 1% of all membership fees collected towards programs focusing on poverty alleviation & women's health initiatives worldwide every year throughout various developing countries — helping us extend support beyond just ladies' golf but aid entire communities economically & socially too!
