What does DAS mean in DISABILITY

The main benefit of DAS is that it allows eligible guests to reserve access to attractions without having to wait in the regular lines. This helps guests with physical or mental impairments experience the same thrills and joys as other parkgoers without having to wait in long lines. Additionally, thanks to DAS, these guests can plan out their day and make sure they're able to experience all that the park has to offer.

Guests who meet certain disability criteria may be eligible for Disability Access Service at Disney theme parks and resorts. This includes individuals with physical, cognitive or developmental disabilities that significantly impact their ability to wait in a conventional queue environment. Guests must present valid proof of eligibility when obtaining a DAS pass from Guest Relations or an Accessibility Center on site.

After receiving their DAS pass from Guest Relations or an Accessibility Center, guests will enter attractions using a designated entrance and indicate which attraction(s) they would like access for using a tablet or another device provided by park staff. Once this information is logged into the system, a return time will be given corresponding with the current wait time for that attraction plus an additional amount of time determined by Disney based on guest needs (for example, 10 minutes). At this designated return time, guests can then come back and enter the queuing area leading up to the ride without having to wait in line again.

Yes! Service animals trained specifically for assisting individuals with disabilities are welcome aboard all attractions that permit it — including those not marked with accessibility symbols — as long as safety requirements are met. Allowing service animals into rides also does not require any modification of existing policies such as no loose articles on attractions or single rider lines unless safety requirements are otherwise compromised.
