What does NSSED mean in EDUCATIONAL

The Northern Suburban Special Education District (NSSED) is a cooperative agreement between 14 school districts in the northern suburbs of Chicago. The NSSED provides special education services to students with disabilities from preschool through age 21.

The NSSED provides a wide range of special education services, including:

• Early childhood services: These services are for children with disabilities from birth to age 5. They include early intervention services, preschool services, and special education services.
• School-age services: These services are for students with disabilities from kindergarten through age 21. They include special education classes, resource room services, and related services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
