What is the Black Student Success Summit?
The Black Student Success Summit (BSSS) is a one-day virtual event designed to provide support and resources for students of color as they pursue their academic goals. Featuring top leaders from universities, corporations and non-profits, BSSS provides attendees with an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, advice and networking opportunities to help them succeed in their educational pursuits.
When does the Black Student Success Summit take place?
The summit will be held virtually on Saturday, April 10th 2021.
Who attends the Black Student Success Summit?
The BSSS is open to students of color in their last two years of high school or those already attending college or university. In addition, members of the wider community are encouraged to attend the summit to learn more about how best to support students of color through their academic journey.
Is there a cost associated with attending the Black Student Success Summit?
No. While there will be opportunities for attendees to make donations during our event, you do not need to pay anything in order to participate in the BSSS.
What topics will be discussed at the summit?
Attendees can expect workshops and panels led by experts on a variety of topics including college admissions, financial aid options, career planning, self-advocacy skills development and cultural identity exploration.

Yes! We understand that schedules can be unpredictable so livestreaming capabilities will be offered throughout each session allowing you access regardless of where you are tuning in from.
