Founded in 1998 as part of a bilateral agreement between the Governments of Turkey and Kazakhstan, it originally opened its doors as Turkic International Education Centre (TICE). But due to its rapid success, TICE was later rebranded into Kazakh-Turkish High School (KTHS). The school strives to provide world-class education via a combination of traditional classroom studies along with special activities such as sports, arts classes and technology workshops.
