We rely on generous donations from individuals and organizations who support our mission to end pet homelessness in Evan Snoopy. Our primary sources of funding come from individual donors such as yourself, grants from foundations and corporations, fundraisers, merchandise sales, and miscellaneous income-generating activities.

CARES was started in 2018 in order to address the urgent needs of companion animals in Evan Snoopy that were not being met by other rescue organizations. Since then we have saved hundreds of lives each year!

Yes - individuals must be 18 years or older to adopt a pet through CARES – no exceptions! All potential adopters must fill out an application which requires proof of age before they can submit an adoption request.

Yes - all animals adopted through CARES are up-to-date on their vaccinations when they go home with you! We make sure every animal receives veterinary care upon intake so they are healthy when they leave us for their new forever homes.

For any adoptions you will need two forms of picture identification (Driver's License or passport) as well as proof that your residence permits pets (lease agreement). After your paperwork has been reviewed by one of our volunteers we may require additional documents before approving the adoption.
