What does WYDG mean in DEVELOPMENT

The primary goal of WYDG is to empower young people by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in life. It focuses on developing youth into productive citizens through education, skills development, leadership training, and other activities.

WYDG provides a wide range of services such as mentoring programs, educational workshops, recreational activities, health screenings, financial literacy classes, job readiness programs, and more. It also organizes special events like community clean-ups and holiday celebrations.

All young people aged between 13-21 years old living in the Wakitaka area are eligible to access WYDG's services. It offers programs for both in-school and out-of-school youth who have an interest in developing themselves academically or professionally.

There are a variety of ways you can get involved! You can volunteer your time at one of the many events or programs offered by the organization or you can become a mentor for younger members in your community. You can also donate money or resources if you are unable to volunteer your time directly.
