What does CMRC mean in RESEARCH

CMRC carries out a wide range of scientific research in order to understand the coastal and marine ecosystems of the Caribbean Sea. This includes studies on climate change, coral reef ecology, fisheries management, habitat mapping, water quality monitoring and more.

Yes, CMRC provides educational programs that aim to raise awareness about coastal and marine resource management, global climate change and ways to ensure their long-term sustainability. Through these programs, they also provide hands-on training opportunities as well as teaching materials for teachers and students in local communities
