UCI stands for Urinary Cock Infection, which is a common type of infection that affects the urinary tract in both men and women.

Additionally, cranberry juice or supplements have been found to reduce recurring infections due its acidifying effects on urine pH levels which can make it harder for bacteria to survive in the urinary tract.

Repeated UTIs may lead to chronic inflammation in your urinary tract called interstitial cystitis (IC). However this condition is very rare and tends to occur only if someone already has a predisposing factor such as diabetes or bladder stones or if they do not respond well to treatment with antibiotics. In these cases, further tests may be necessary before deciding on an appropriate course of treatment.
