What does CEW mean in COMMUNITY

A Community Engagement Waiver is a type of visa issued by the USCIS that allows certain immigrants to obtain legal permanent residence without having to go through the traditional consular processing process.

To be eligible for a Community Engagement Waiver, applicants must be lawfully present in the United States, have been granted asylum or refugee status, possess an employment authorization document from an authorized employer, and satisfy other requirements as determined by USCIS.
