What does GCHC mean in HEALTHCARE

GCHC stands for Genesee Community Health Center.

GCHC provides a wide range of medical, dental, psychological, and social services. Services may include preventive care and screenings; primary health care; behavioral health care; urgent/acute care; obstetrics and gynecology care; nutrition counseling; pharmacy services; lab testing and imaging services; substance use disorder treatment services; home healthcare visits; case management/care coordination and referrals to outside specialists when needed.

GCHC provides care to anyone who lives in the greater Flint and Genesee county area regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status.

Yes, we accept most major insurances including Medicaid/Medicare, private insurances (including Blue Cross Blue Shield), HAP/Alliance Health Plan, McLaren Health Plan, Priority Health Choice, Total Care Network (TCN) Molina Healthcare of Michigan and others depending upon your plan selection at time of enrollment. We also offer financial assistance programs to eligible patients who are uninsured or underinsured.
