What does ODSC mean in UNCLASSIFIED

ODSC stands for Objectives, Deliverables and Success Criteria. These components are used to determine whether or not a project will be successful or fail. Objectives describe what outcome is intended while deliverables explain how that outcome will be achieved. Success criteria describes the standards which must be met by the project in order for it to achieve its objectives and deliverables

ODSC helps with project management by providing clear direction for the goals and tasks of a project as well as setting benchmarks for measuring progress against expectations. It also provides guidance on what activities are required in order to secure success for a given task or goal

Objectives include detailed descriptions about why a certain action needs to take place, such as the purpose behind it, who needs to do it, what outcomes should result from it, when it should be completed by, where resources should come from etc

Deliverables typically includes tangible items such as reports or documents, software applications, websites etc that need to be provided at certain times during the lifespan of the project in order for it to meet its overall objectives

Success criteria typically includes metrics related to quality assurance and performance checks that need to be monitored along with standards of best practices that must be adhered too in order for the desired outcomes from a given task or goal are achieved
