What does CA mean in COMPUTING

Computer Architecture refers to the structure of a computer system and how it operates. It involves components such as instruction set architectures, microarchitectures, memory systems, and interconnects which all work together to form the overall system.

The main components of a computer architecture include instruction set architectures (ISA), microarchitecture designs (including processor cores and caches), memory systems, bus architectures (including I/O buses), storage systems, interconnects (including networks) and power management.

Computer Architecture has a huge influence on system performance. When choosing an architecture for a particular application or workload it is important to consider factors such as core counts and clock speed along with the type of ISA being used. All these factors will affect how the system will perform in terms of throughput, latency, power consumption etc.
