What does BYB mean in YOUTH

Beaumont Youth Baseball (BYB) is a youth baseball organization that serves the Beaumont, Texas area. We strive to create a safe and positive learning environment for all our participants to learn the sport of baseball while having fun.

BYB accommodates 5 year olds and older. We have different divisions based on skill level and age.

Yes, there is an annual fee associated with registration which can be paid either online or in person at one of our events. The fee covers expenses such as equipment, uniforms, facility costs and field usage fees.

The regular season typically runs March through June depending on weather conditions and holidays. Games are usually held on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays depending on scheduling needs.

In cases where games need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather such as rain or lightning, we make every effort to make sure those games are rescheduled at a later date within the same season.

Absolutely! In order to ensure the safety of all players we provide a coach certification program which ensures coaches are up-to-date with relevant rules, regulations and safety protocols regarding the game of baseball. Coaches are also encouraged to participate in skill development seminars throughout the season in order to stay sharp and improve their coaching skillset.

Yes! Every year we host tournaments at various levels spanning from recreational up until high school divisional levels. There is also playoffs towards the middle/end of each season which allows teams that performed well during their respective seasons compete against other high performing teams from across Texas.
