What does FASU mean in STUDENTS

FASU stands for Filipino American Student Union. It is an organization that works to create a safe and welcoming environment for students of Filipino heritage at American universities. We work to promote Filipino culture and celebrate the diversity of our members.

Joining FASU is easy! All you need to do is fill out an application form online or in person at your college's student union. Once your membership has been confirmed, you can start participating in our programs and activities.

FASU organizes a variety of events such as seminars, workshops, fundraisers, mixers, socials and community service projects. We aim to provide a platform for our members to learn more about Filipino culture, engage with each other and get involved in meaningful activities that will have a lasting impact on their education and future success.

We highly value our members, however all members must pay an annual membership fee to cover administrative costs associated with running the organization. The fee may vary depending on whether you're a graduate or undergraduate student.

Yes! As part of our effort to support student’s professional development, we coordinate special internships every semester through partner organizations and businesses. These internships offer valuable experience and can give students an edge in today’s job market.
