What does ACCW mean in COUNCIL

The ACCW is a service and education organization that provides support to Catholic women for spiritual development, enrichment, and leadership growth. It works in partnership with the pastors, staffs, and parishes of the Archdiocese of Seattle to promote unity and understanding among all people in our communities. The ACCW is committed to bringing an authentic Catholic voice to both parish life and public discourse through community action, prayer and charitable service.

The mission of the ACCW is to empower all women with Christian values that are necessary for personal growth, meaningful service and effective leadership. Through its program areas of Spiritual Development, Education & Enrichment, Leadership Growth & Development, Parish Life & Engagement, Community Service & Action and Public Discourse & Advocacy, it seeks to foster mutual respect and understanding among all faiths in our local communities.
