What does ACCW mean in TRADE ASSOCIATIONS

Advocates for Covenant Clergy Women (ACCW) is a network of women leaders in the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). The mission of ACCW is to promote and sustain the full inclusion and participation of women in all areas of ministry within the ECC. ACCW strives to advocate for justice, equity, and mutual respect among clergywomen and all people in the Conference.

The Advocates for Covenant Clergy Women was formed because there was a need for gender equity and parity within the church. Over time, it has become evident that women face unique challenges when pursuing leadership positions, such as lack of recognition and support by some male leaders. ACCW seeks to empower women who are already serving in their local churches, providing an opportunity to network with other women leaders as well as be connected with resources that can help them grow in their ministries.

ACCW provides a variety of programs designed to empower, encourage, equip, and recognize clergywomen. These include workshops on a variety of topics related to professional ministry leadership, mentoring opportunities, retreats focused on spiritual formation or social justice issues, advocacy efforts highlighting current issues facing clergywomen in the ECC, scholarship and grant programs designed to assist clergywomen with education or ministry-related expenses, and events celebrating clergywoman’s contribution to ministry.

There are many ways that you can get involved with ACCW! You can participate in any of our events or workshops; submit an article or story about your experience as a woman leader in ministry; volunteer at one of our retreats; join our online discussion forums or attend special events; donate resources or money to one of our scholarships; reach out to other female pastors or mentors through our resources page; visit us on Facebook or Instagram; or simply take part in spreading awareness about gender equity within the ECC by sharing information about ACCW with others!

Men can participate in ADVOCATE initiatives by lending their support through donations, attending conferences/retreats/other events related to Advocating Gender Equity & Inclusion within the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), offering mentorship opportunities for female pastors within their communities & organizations based on best practices & guidelines established by Advocating Gender Equity & Inclusion Task Force (AGIF). They can also speak out against gender inequality & affirm equal access & recognition for those committing themselves into ordained ministries regardless of gender identity.

Yes! ACCW provides various resources specifically tailored towards female pastors including but not limited to online discussion forums where members share experiences & advice on navigating different aspects of ministerial life such as conflict management & burnout prevention strategies; access to various books written by female writers/pastors regarding spiritual formation & social justice issues; financial support through grants & scholarships provided by generous donors who understand how hard it is sometimes be able to pursue higher education while still balancing family commitments; access to mentors who have walked this road before us–people who have felt first hand what it means go be called into something greater than ourselves without expectations or demands but simply offering love& sheerly understanding.

While we operate primarily from United States locations here at ACCW we recognize that still there are many places around world where empowered females are needed just as much if not even more than here at home so we strive create international presence by engaging foreign countries whose cultures may not yet fully grasp concept that women belong alongside men same level when comes exercising spiritual authority over congregations supported locally pastored internationally thus providing opportunity expand awareness world wide beyond just North American borders which go above beyond initial call serve those suffering most from inequality found global Christian circles.
