What does PSRD mean in PHYSIOLOGY

Patient Self Reported Depression (PSRD) is a type of patient-reported outcome measure that uses self-report questionnaires or surveys to identify depression in individuals seeking mental health care.

PSRD is typically used by medical professionals to assess the severity of symptoms of depression, such as low moods, decreased energy, changes in appetite and sleeping habits. Additionally, it can be used to help diagnose the presence or absence of major depressive disorder.
