What does MJP mean in PSYCHIATRY

The MJP publishes original research papers, reviews, case reports, clinical practice guidelines, and commentaries across various aspects of mental health and psychiatry. Topics include clinical practice guidelines for specific disorders; research into new diagnostics and treatments; epidemiologic studies examining the prevalence of diseases; public health policies affecting access to care; advances in pharmacology; clinical trial data; psychological studies relating to mental health issues; and more.

Submissions from researchers and clinicians from all nations are welcome. The journal also accepts submissions from medical students or postgraduate trainees with an interest in psychiatry and mental health. All authors must comply with the Journal's ethical standards as outlined in its Author Guidelines.

The MJP is published quarterly by Medimap Publishing Group Sdn Bhd., every February (Issue 1), May (Issue 2), August (Issue 3), and November (Issue 4). Special issues are also occasionally released throughout the year.

Articles published by MJP can be accessed by anyone without charge through open access initiatives adopted by Medimap Publishing Group Sdn Bhd. Readers do not have to pay any fees to view or download articles from this journal on any platform they choose.

The scope of content covered by this journal extends beyond Malaysia to include international perspectives on mental health issues related to global populations across Asia-Pacific regions, including India, China, Thailand, Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Tibet. This allows readers from both local Malaysian contexts as well as other countries across the region to benefit from its wide range of content types covering a variety of topics related to mental health research worldwide.
