What does ACCG mean in UNCLASSIFIED

The ACCG is the Amador Calaveras Consensus Group, which is a coalition of local organizations with diverse interests working together to protect, conserve and restore the environment of Amador and Calaveras counties in California.

The mission of this group is to connect different stakeholders in a shared conservation effort; we strive for strong collaboration between citizens, land managers, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Our main goals are to identify conservation priorities, address significant environmental threats, support sustainable land-use decisions, and build community involvement.

The ACCG works closely with various partners including government agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and U.S. Forest Service (USFS), local non-profit organizations like the Sierra Foothill Conservancy (SFC), private landowners, public land users groups like hikers and hunters, educational institutions like universities, as well as other citizens interested in conserving our lands.

The organization undertakes a range of activities to achieve its mission.
