What does BSMR mean in UNCLASSIFIED

BSMR stands for Bulan Sabit Merah Remaja. It is a movement that promotes the importance and power of youth activism in Indonesia and aims to foster greater civic engagement among Indonesian youth.

BSMR provides young people with opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in meaningful conversations, and enhance their understanding of current social and political issues. Additionally, the organization works to raise public awareness on important topics such as gender equality, environmental protection, socio-economic justice, among others.

There are many ways you can get involved! You can join one of our discussion groups or participate in our workshops to learn more about what we do. You can also attend our events such as conferences and rallies to show your support for our cause. Additionally, you can help spread awareness by becoming a member of the organization or volunteering your time and talents!

BSMR primarily operates in Indonesia with most of its activities taking place in major cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. Occasionally there are events held outside of Indonesia as well.

Anyone between the ages of 15 - 25 years old is welcome to join any of our activities or events. We strive to be inclusive and make sure that everyone feels a part of the movement regardless of age or background.

Yes! Our team consists out diverse professionals who provide young people with advice on various topics related to activism and civic engagement ranging from educational resources to professional career guidance. We also offer free consultations on request if needed.
