What does BSME mean in EDUCATIONAL

BSME stands for Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Education, which is a study abroad program offered by Eötvös Lorand University in Hungary. It focuses on providing students with an international experience geared towards mathematics education, research methods, and principles from around the world.

While having some familiarity with mathematics is beneficial for taking full advantage of the program's offerings, it isn't required for admission into BSME. The faculty works diligently to ensure that all participants get up to speed regardless of their prior knowledge level.

BSME typically runs for four months or one semester during the academic year, usually beginning sometime during late-August/early-September and concluding at the end of December or mid-January depending on the university's academic calendar.

Absolutely! International applicants are encouraged to apply and may do so either through direct submission or through one of our partner institutions from around the world. It's important that students have a valid student visa prior to enrollment if accepted into the program.
