What does SNHS mean in NEWS & MEDIA

Science News in High Schools (SNHS) is an educational program providing high-quality, current science news and research to high school students around the world. Through SNHS, students access evidence-based information on critical science topics and participate in interactive activities that foster student engagement and promote inquiry-based learning.

SNHS delivers biweekly digital magazines to classrooms that cover current scientific research and exploration from leading scientists and writers from around the world. Students can read articles, participate in multimedia activities such as virtual field trips, explore infographics, watch videos of experiments or demonstrations and access a printable version of the magazine for further study.

SNHS covers a variety of science topics including earth sciences, biology, physics, chemistry, health and medicine, astronomy and space exploration, technology and engineering, climate change and environmental sciences, paleontology and evolution as well as mathematics.
