What does AAAA mean in NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

The Arizona Asian American Association (AAAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing local, state and national leadership in support of the Asian American community. AAAA works to advance political, economic, social and educational opportunities for all Asian Americans.

AAAA’s objectives are to promote awareness of the contributions made by the Asian American community; advocate for civil rights and justice for all; and create greater opportunities for civic engagement through education, partnerships, networking and programs.

AAAA serves as a bridge between the states diverse cultures, promoting understanding among different cultures while celebrating the commonalities, strengths and traditions of all members in Arizona's Asian American community. Through its various initiatives centered around law, public policy advocacy and civic engagement it strives to empower individuals to be effective agents of change in their communities.

Yes! AAAA provides many resources that can help connect individuals to legal aid services as well as educational resources such as scholarship opportunities or language classes. Additionally they facilitate partnerships with other organizations within Arizona who share a similar mission allowing them to provide even more services to those in need.

Getting involved with AAAA is simple! You can join by becoming a member, volunteer at events or contribute through donations. Becoming a member has many benefits such as access to exclusive event invitations, discounts on workshops and much more! Most importantly you will be part of an amazing group advocating for social justice within the AAPI Community throughout Arizona.

Yes! AAAA focuses on several key areas including Civil Rights & Advocacy Program which advances practical solutions to address discrimination against people within the AAPI community; Education Equity Program whose goal is to create equitable access to education that addresses achievement gaps faced by low-income students from AAPI backgrounds; Immigration & Labor Rights Program which strives towards assuring basic human rights protections for immigrant workers across various industries; Economic Empowerment Program which works towards mitigating systemic disparities faced by API entrepreneurs; Arts & Culture Program which seeks out ways to celebrate cultural heritage while creating stronger connections across diverse cultural groups; and Policy & Research Program which advocates for pro-equity legislation at both state and federal levels.

AAA hosts many events throughout the year such as conferences focusing on topics related to social justice ranging from health care access, immigration reform or labor rights. They also have programs celebrating important holidays like Lunar New Year or Diwali where members can connect with each other and mingle over food while learning about various cultural practices from around Asia. Lastly there are also self-care activities like yoga or movie nights sprinkled throughout the year so everyone has an opportunity take a break from their busy lives once in awhile.

AAA meets bi-weekly (every other week) on Sundays from 2 PM - 5 PM at various locations throughout Phoenix metro area - usually determined based off location accessibility for its members. During these meetings they discuss current initiatives or intitiatives they may be working on behind closed doors.
